Back in the late 90’s I had a lot of my music on the original MP3.com. One of the cool services MP3.com offered at the time was the ability to create and sell your own physical CDs. These CDs came with a standalone flash player for computer playback, as well as the ability to be played in any standard standalone CD player. They were called D.A.M. CDs (for Digital Automatic Music).
This post is a collection of layered improv freakout songs that was “put out” as a D.A.M. CD back in 1998 or 1999. I have posted a zip file of the D.A.M. CD - just download the zip and burn it to a CD to step back in time and have a D.A.M. experience. The album artwork for some reason is not in the D.A.M. files, but this artwork was the printed cover.
